Coordinator:
Rev. Wheatley Bell
The ministry of Joshua 6 is named for the 6th chapter of the Old Testament book Joshua, where God miraculously and systematically delivered the walled city of Jericho into the hands of His chosen people (Israel).
Target
This ministry is designed to help substance abusers, former abusers, and others who struggle with life-controlling problems overcome, recovering life. Hence a ministry for continued recovery.
In life we are constantly up and down, in and out (so to speak) and some of our experiences are traumatic. We as God's People are in a state of recovery and there are walls that are erected, if not around us, then certainly between us and our God-assigned destinies as we have gotten off the beaten path and strayed into the course of the world.
When we come to ourselves and had enough of the madness it is my prayer this ministry will teach us, equipping us with the knowledge of and the wisdom to truly become overcomers enabling us to stand regardless, victoriously. Sometimes God works a miracle all at once, other times brick by brick.
The objective, then, is receiving all that God has in store for us.
